Motion, 3D & Video

Movement captures attention in ways static content can't. We create motion graphics, 3D visualisations, and video content that explains complex ideas, showcases products, and brings brands to life.

What we create

Explainer videos

Short, focused videos that explain how something works. A product, a service, a concept. Motion graphics let us visualise abstract ideas that would be difficult or expensive to film. These typically run 60-90 seconds and are designed for websites, social media, or sales decks.

Product demos

Software walkthroughs, app previews, and product showcases. For digital products, we screen-record real interfaces with motion graphics overlays to highlight key features. For physical products, 3D visualisation lets us show items from every angle without a photoshoot.

3D visualisation

Photorealistic renders and animations of products, spaces, or concepts. Useful for products still in development, architectural visualisation, or when real photography is impractical. We work in Cinema 4D and Blender to create visuals indistinguishable from photography.

Social media content

Short-form video optimised for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms. This includes animated graphics, video ads, story templates, and content series. We format for each platform's specifications and create multiple versions from single productions.

UI animation and micro-interactions

Animation isn't just for marketing. It's an important part of good interface design. Subtle movements guide attention, provide feedback, and make interactions feel polished. We design the following.

  • Loading states and progress indicators that communicate what's happening
  • Transitions between screens or states that orient users
  • Interactive feedback on buttons, inputs, and other controls
  • Onboarding animations that introduce features

We deliver these as in the formats you need. We work with the specifications you give us, whatever your development team can implement most easily.

How motion projects work

01

Brief & concept

We define the goal, audience, and message. What should viewers understand, feel, or do after watching? For longer pieces, we develop a written script; for shorter content, a clear outline.

02

Storyboard

Visual planning of each shot or scene. You see the structure before we animate anything. This catches conceptual issues early. Changing a storyboard is much faster than re-animating.

03

Style frames

Key frames that establish the visual look: colours, typography, illustration style, level of detail. These are static images that show exactly what the final animation will look like.

04

Animation

We bring the frames to life. You see work-in-progress versions and can give feedback on timing, pacing, and emphasis. Voiceover and music are added at this stage.

05

Delivery

Final files in the formats you need: high-res for web, compressed for social, vertical and horizontal crops. We provide working files if you need future edits.

When motion content is worth it

Motion content requires more investment than static graphics, so it's worth being strategic about where you use it.

  • High-traffic pages. Homepage hero, landing pages where conversion matters
  • Complex explanations. When showing is much clearer than telling
  • Social advertising. Video ads consistently outperform static in engagement
  • Product launches. Making a strong first impression on something new

We'll be honest if we think static content would serve your purpose better. Not everything needs to move.

Have something you want to bring to life?

Tell us what you're trying to communicate and who you're trying to reach. We'll advise on whether motion is the right approach and what it would involve.
