Race Venue
All races take place in the beautiful aspects provided by Fritton Lake; a swim in the lake is followed by a ride along the public roads that border the Somerleyton Hall Estate. The cycle route is a 20km loop that goes through the village of Somerleyton and past the entrance to the hall. Once back at Fritton Lake the run section follows marked trails around the lake through acres of natural woodland (standard distance) or on pathways around the country park (super sprint).
About Fritton Lake
Fritton Lake is one of the most beautiful stretches of water in East Anglia, extending two and a quarter miles from end to end and covering 150 acres. The lake is considered the jewel in the crown of the historic Somerleyton Hall estate, which covers 5,000 acres. The event includes adult triathlon races at standard distance and super sprint distance.
